Christmas is here! As much fun and exciting as Christmas is, is as much stress and anxiety it can bring as well! I have put together a few different gift lists per price range to try and help make it a little easier for you! There are so many great gifts out there, and even more awesome websites, so if you like the gifts suggested but it might not be best for you, check out some of these websites! I would also recommend checking out our coupon page as well! There are updates on new deals, great ways to save on gifts and many other wonderful finds!
For the $25 and under range:
Chalkboard wine glass, Magazine subscriptions, Children’s tooth fairy pillow (try www.etsy.com they have so many choices), Scented cupcake candle, Smelly Gel Pens, Corkcicle, Wine bottle candelabra, Funny napkins or cups with their favorite spread or drink, Kodak Gallery made calendar, there are so many great makeup palettes that are a great gift!!
I love being creative and trying to do something from the heart, I also try to go with something that person can use regularly. If you have someone who loves to decorate for the holidays then try being crafty or creative. I am starting a project, I found all of my supplies at Joann Fabrics. I found the letter of my last name, wrapped it in scrapbook paper (few strips in different directions) with a Christmas pattern, covered it in decoupage and now I have a wonderful decorative piece. Have a friend who is a cook, try going to a do it yourself pottery place and personalize them a serving dish; or a new neighbor or new addition to the family a plate for Santa is great!
For the $50 and under range:
I feel at this price range you are able to be a little bit more personable. Someone with a passion for cooking or baking, wine, makeup, golf, vacations, pregnant or new baby, make it a meaningful gift for their latest passion. I think gift baskets or multiple gifts are so thoughtful. New passion for cooking, try a cookbook and your favorite kitchen utensils (melon scooper!), and attach your favorite recipe on a recipe card on the outside. Love for the vino, a nice wine in a new wine carrier (try the bags that are freezable for your hostess!) or wine glasses. Just moved into a new house, new front door mat (I personally love the initial ones, they are so personable!), a fresh plant with a magazine subscription and/or a few plant tools. Newlyweds, anything Mr. and Mrs. (wine glasses, robes, towels, aprons, pillowcases), a new recipe book, anything to help ensure a smile in the future! I gave my sister in law a gift card to a well rated (try www.yelp.com) restaurant in the same town as their honeymoon, one free dinner while away to start their future! Vacation coming up, try the gift card, or a new beach bag, or the pocket rocket bags are great! A gift that has been so useful that I was given is the casserole tote, I attached a picture, it has been great for parties and holidays, your dish stays warm! The man, men are always the hardest to buy for personally. I love the remote helicopters, they are great for so many age ranges and its bound to bring out the inner child in most men. I also found the golf club wine holder to be great, as well as just a sleeve of their favorite golf balls (or monogrammed are a nice touch as well)! Anything sports usually works too, try www.perfectcases.com to keep their memorabilia and autographed balls! Another favorite my sister and I have done for my father many times is the gift card book, we make (yes like we are kids, now our kids help us!) a handmade book with his favorite things and places, car wash, gas card, lunch spot, golf, etc. He loves it, and it is a sweet way to give back to those who give you so much!
Over $50 to no limit:
Tickets to an event like a play, concert, or show are always great and so fun to look forward to! Try www.groupon.com or so many of the other great quick sale sites for deals, www.travelzoo.com sends out a Top20 every Wednesday and they usually have great show deals in NY or Vegas, sometimes Orlando. A spa package is always a winner with the ladies, but try a couples one as well. I feel like the Kindle and Ipads are great because other friends or family members can buy the accessories to go with it! Music lessons, guitar lessons, golf lessons, anything to better the skill they work so hard on. When I first had my twins, my mother paid for her maid to come over a few times which was a BIG help and very thoughtful. Someone who has a passion for makeup, try to find a makeup artist that will give them a lesson on what would look best on them, shades they should wear and how they can apply their makeup for the features.
